Following the competition organized in 2006, the council of Impruneta started the administration procedures for the realization of the project.
The final project, which elaborated the themes expressed in the contest, was presented to the town of Impruneta in an exhibition ‘Il paesaggio e la terra. Il recupero di piazza Buondelmonti a Impruneta’. (the landscape and land. The redevelopment of piazza Buondelmonti in Impruneta).
The exhibition was held in December 2010 in the Sala d’Armi of the Basilica di Santa Maria, in Impruneta.
